I just bought my second Taco - a black Baja edition - and I CAN'T WAIT to pick her up from the dealer. I missed out on the red one by a few days . I currently drive an 07, near-bone stock Pre-runner, which I will absolutely miss. I mean, I won't miss the no power anything and the two wheel drive, but I've had that truck in about 33 states. Transitioned over from Ford/Dodge/Chevy/Jeep at the urging of a gear head friend of mine, and haven't looked back since, although the Raptor was a pretty tempting purchase. I chose the more responsible route (read: cheaper and more reliable). I'm looking for a few thoughts on bumpers/brush guards/light bars as well as tips/recommendations for better gas mileage. I have a K&N cold air intake that I got pretty cheap that's ready to be installed, but other than that, I was thinking of a high flow CAT, and depending on the TRD muffler's sound, upgrading to a full Magnaflow system. Any thoughts are appreciated and yes, Afghanistan still sucks in every imaginable way.

gracias! how often is there a houston meetup - if ever? i spend a lot (read 99%) of the year in shithole countries like afghanistan as a defense contractor, but call galveston county home. outside of a few hometown friends, and a few friends that transferred through other social groups in houston-proper, i don't do much outside of sit at a little smoke filled bar drinking whiskey - which, not a bad life compared to life here during Arab Spring (i think one of my sites is at 70+ enemy kia since the first weekend in May), but not exactly living it to the fullest. just curious if you guys ever meet up and go sling mud or something.
