Anybody else here know about 4 cylinder camry's? My girlfriend has an 04 with a 4 cylinder and I do the oil changes. Why would her little car use a heavier weight oil like 5w 30 and my truck which I use to pull a boat and work with occasionally use 5w 20? Doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, I have like 3 qts of 5w 20 left, would that be ok in a Camry?

    :notsure: on the reason.

I'd only use what the owners manual recommends.

Tighter tolerances can require the use of thinner oil.
