Well, bought the wife a new 2013 4Runner yesterday. Add that to the '12 DCLB TRD Sport Taco, and we went from being a Chevrolet family to a Toyota family in 7 months time..haha.

Funny, we both originally wanted black, and both got "stuck" with MGM, and we both love it. I'm loving the MGM now. My Taco bough tnew and already has 40k miles on it (ya, I travel a ton) and hopefully hers doesnt get near that much. She essentially got every option on her 4Runner except leather.

Great choice in color! Must be cool to see the rigs parked next to each other! We became a 2 toyota family as well this year with my taco and my wifes Venza....

My wife has a 5th Gen MGM 4Runner, I wanted the MGM too but didn't want matching vehicles. So I went with white for my Taco. First white vehicle. So far it's growing on me.

Don't be afraid to put miles on your vehicle! It will be fine. Thats like buying a hooker and telling her go to sleep in your bed, but no sex!

    Congrats!

Haha! I'm damn sure not scared to lay on the miles!

I didn't want matching vehicles either, but she bought the car in SC(as did I. We are moving cross country this week) and buying a 4 wheel drive anything in SC is a pain. You don't get to be as picky on colors! Haha.

good looking family you have there, oh and those ppl look nice too. haha

i went and traded my honda element in for my taco and i was attracted to the mgm immediately. when i drove it home and parked it next to my wifes accord i realized they were identical in color. face palm moment. i was subliminally drawn to that color choice.

4WD not a common thing in SC eh? Thats a bummer. Still for the life of me I can never understand owning a 2WD truck.

Ya- I kind of felt like both times I bought, walking in and telling them 4x4 was mandatory for me was like telling them I wanted to catch AIDS. HAHA but, we are moving to Montana (Utah for a short while first) and 4 wheel drive is the norm. It'll be good to be back out west. We liked the South, but the mountains and I missed each other!

Never have had an issue trying to find a 4x4 in the color I wanted.
