I like to keep a toolkit in my vehicles at all times. I recently purchased a 2003 base Tacoma with a 2.4 liter.

    Here is what I carry:

    Screwdriver
    Philips
    Adjustable wrench
    Pliers
    Vise grip
    Knife
    Zip ties
    Duct tape
    Fuses
    Hose clamps
    Old alternator, a/c etc belts.

Can anyone let me know what size (mm) socket wrenches and regular wrenches I should include to cover 95% of emergency repairs?

Also if anyone can think of other tools to include, please post.

    thanks

I know you'll need a 14, 10, and probably a 16. Wouldn't hurt to throw in a flashlight, a bottle jack, and a spare spark plug or two.

Of course I always keep some straps, a jug of water, and a quart of oil with me too.

    Thanks,

Will the 10, 14, and 16 mm cover most emergency repairs?
