does volant intake with scoop cause CEL on 4 cyl

    AFE CAI, flowmaster 40 chopped after axle, window tint, blacked out badges, painted rims black, LCE headers
    i have a 2nd gen 2.7l and just wondering if it causes a CEL on it ive seen that it does on the 4.0l but havent seen anyone say anything about a 2.7l

    Built for maximum low end torque, tooter II.VII intake manifold spacer, LCE long tube header, Injen long tube intake, 2,900 rpm torque peak.
    Not sure if anyone here has run one on their 2.7 yet. I ruled out a Volant intake because I don't want to have to mess around with an oily air filter.

    I'll be getting this Injen dry filter intake in a few days. They have no MAF or CEL issues.

    It's not a true cold air intake, but I don't care as I don't think it's an issue with so much air blowing through the engine compartment when the truck is in motion.

    Found a really good price on a polished aluminum Injen.

    For the record.... I have a 2013 v6 4.0l w/ volant cai and scoop, and never had the check engine light come on.
