    But seriously....

Being a gal myself, I carry a regular purse for everyday usage and had been using a fanny pak while hiking, traveling, or other outdoor activities. The fanny pak is 'secure' and allows me to carry what I need. My husband absolutely HATES when I wear a fanny pak....... so, I was looking for alternatives.

I wanted something smaller and more 'girly' - but decided to keep it rugged. This Maxpedition FatBoy is very cool!! For guys & gals!

If you're a girl and are the 'outdoorsy' type.....It has all the pockets, pouches, and nooks & crannies to carry everything you need (and then some). A water type flap in the main compartment. You carry it around your shoulder and has another strap at the waist to keep it against your body. It has a special compartment for your self defense weapon. It comes in many different colors (including PINK). I ordered the BLUE (as seen at the bottom).

If you're a guy...... it comes in various colors including camo, and did I mention...it has a special compartment for your self defense weapon?

FYI - The basic Fatboy lays on your right hip (for right handed shooters). The S-type is for left handed shooters and lays on your left hip. [IMG]

There are bigger varieties of this same type pak. Medium Jumbo versipak, Jumbo Versipak, etc and other varieties. Amazon has a ton of these things for browsing (and look at reviews) and you can visit their website http://www.maxpedition.com/

No personal gain for me...just a very cool product. I took a 4 mile walk today by myself and was able to carry my mini with me (my bodyguard).
