I have a 2013 tacoma with the touch screen stereo with blue tooth. The thing is that when the truck is moving from like 3 MPH and up you can't enter the phone number. I think is for safety reason just can call the contacts saved on the speed dial or on the call history.

Is there any mod that you can do to override this, like unplug/cut the speed sense wire going to the stereo?

    Hey I have a 13' regular cab.
why don't you use the actual phone to dial the number and press call
as long as you are blue tooth connected it will work.

^ Agreed. Dialing a number while driving is just as bad as texting. Your own life at danger is up to you, but others on the road are innocently also involved. Park or speed dial. The safety feature should not be cracked.
