I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I have a new option for those of you that want steps and still be able to use you sliders. A customer came to me wanting a bolt on step for his sliders and this is the end result. It's 2 sticks of 1.75" .120 wall HREW and 3/16" plate for the attachment points with 10Gauge raised expanded metal welded to the top for major grip. They bolt on with four 1/2" grade 8 socket head cap screws too tabs are are welded on the slider. They can be made any length from a full length step to just small steps for each door.

With these steps you can really use your sliders as steps and not slide out of your truck like most of us do. I'll be adding tabs for these on the sliders for my truck as soon as I build them

Now these are not a DIY step so you would have to order them with your sliders not add them later. I may come up with a mounting system that you can drill and tap you sliders to add these but for now they need to be ordered with the sliders. If you have a welder and want to do make these yourself I can sell you a bracket kit and you just supply the tube and expanded top plate. Or a DIY weld together kit.

    PM for pricing

Hmm, my fiance would love one of those. I'll be watching for pricing when you can add them to existing sliders.

Yeah that's why the customer is getting them an FJ with a 6" lift and his wife can't get in the truck.

Looks good Jerry. Not my style but my kids love the sliders you built for me. I just had him build them without an angle and they work great as a step.

None really I'm hoping to have something by the new year. I'll have a totally universal step that can be used on just about any slider.

Gotcha. I was thinking of possibly adding these to my sliders I have on order at BAMF.

Ha! Some people might call that a feature.
