A front-end vibration has developed in my truck in the last week and a half or so (or i've just started noticing it :) ). There is no vibration while driving, even at high speeds, it only happens when idling. When I come to a complete stop in D, a small vibration starts in the right front wheel well area, but only sometimes. If I move forwards a meter or so sometimes it goes away. As soon as I lift off the brake and bring the revs up it disappears again.

Putting it in 4-Hi doesn't do anything, but putting it in R, P, or N does! Revving the engine while in drive with my foot on the brake makes it go away as well (it's just a ~150 rpm window that it vibrates in, as soon as I get past that it goes away). When going over speed bumps and such I can hear a little vibration just as I go over it but it disappears right away. No other issues with the truck.

I think it's a mechanical vibration, not the torque converter or anything in the trans (138 000 km on trans), because it seems to be rpm-driven, but I can't find it for the life of me. Has anyone experience a similar vibration in the past, or have any idea what it could be?

I had first thought motor mount as well, but they all seem in great shape.
Found the bulk of the vibration came from the plastic engine cover. Maybe mine has bent/warped over the years, but it was just about touching the engine itself, so I put spacers under the mounting studs to bring it up another mm or two and that has stopped THAT vibration.

Still hear something else now and then but it's much much harder to hear.
