first let me say i have 142k miles and have never changed any fluids. yeah i know. well i had the dealership do a tranny flush. went back and looked at the old fluid man that thing looked like motor oil. so should we change the tranny fluid as recommended yes. now the rest i did at home. the radiator fluid was more of a dark red instead of the bright pink dealer stuff..its soooo pretty. now to the rear went with the dealer fluid must say it really did not look bad at all anyway i put in the additive with it. i know i did not have to since my rear is open well that didnt sound right. but i said since i went so long id need all the help in there i could get.wasnt much metal on the magnet fairly clean.. :D.. all in all the truck drives soooo good that i was out in my pj's driving around. just thought it was worth mentioning.

I couldn't do that. If my vehicle isn't running perfectly it keeps me up at night. Heck I had only owned my '07 for 45 minutes and I already had $150 of redline oils that I drove straight from the dealer to pick up.

I'm amazed your rear end gear lube didn't look bad. My diff oozed the creature from the black lagoon when I opened it up at 123k.

Thankfully Toyotas are somewhat forgiving of that. Don't do it with a Honda though!
