So I am in the business of signs and safety (salesman)
A vendor just came by to show off a new product
    I am amazed, guys!
    It is called quickpatch
UV activated fiberglass reinforced self-adhesive repair patch.
It will stick to anything except polyethalene and hydrolic hoses
He had it on a piece of pipe (we also have a water, sewer and gas division for municipalities)
    It will handle 4,000 PSI's
I am putting it on here because it will also repair holes in exhaust and radiators!
    Thousands of uses!
All you do is cut, peel and stick!
5 minutes to bond on a sunny day, and around an hour ona cloudt day
If it is at night, just hold a UV flashlight to it, and in an hour, it is bonded!
Lasts FOREVER (it has to or it wouldnt be introduced in this market
It has me thinking of all the home uses as well!
    Hole in your boat? FIXED
Roofs, steps, gas tanks, gutters, switch boxes, bumpers, RUSTED AREAS, fuel lines, windows, doors, pools, wood, metal, concrete plastic etc etc!
Have not seen the prices yet..
    Couldnt wait to post LOL
The more you put on, the more protection you have!
Example : On a piece of pipe, you put one on, and you have protection against 4,000 PSI. You put another one on, and you have 8,000 PSI
Beats the hell out of a fiberglass patch!
Plus, you can paint, drill and sand it!

would be good for a trail fix on maybe a gas tank puncture or rad leak? would the adhesive work if say, fuel was leaking out of the line and you tried to 'band aid' that hole while its spewing?

I don't see how ANYTHING stuck to a pipe with 4000 psi inside it could stay adhered without being fused to it, such as welded. 4000 psi is a shit ton of pressure.
