So you're telling me ntb fucked me and charged me $20 to "reset" my tpms when I had new tires mounted?

    Lol.

I think you talking about the TPMS button (tire pressure monitoring system) it sets the Tpms light on the dash to your current psi in your tires. So say you want it to let you know when you are below 25 psi. Fill your tires to 25psi then hold that button. When your air pressure drops below that the indicator light will illuminate.

I mean i takes awhile, you have to hold the button down for at least 10 seconds. You expect them to do that for free?

I got tires online and swapped my tpms to some trd fj wheels..called ntb and they said like $18/wheel or something...ended up costing me almost $150 for new tpms bushings, "reset" fee, and whatever bs. NEVER going there again. Wow I feel like a 16 year old who had too much to drink after prom. I better go buy a diaper after that ass ramming...

Lol. The fee was for swapping the actual sensors to new wheels. Not "resetting" the tpms i was just busting balls

The government specs for TPMS is the warning light should come on if any sensor detects that tire is 25% below what the pressure was when last reset (under dash button). It will allow you to run different pressures front vs rear. On my truck, with cold tires filled to 32 pounds, and TPMS reset, if any tire drops below 24, the light comes on. Only time this has happened in 40k miles was due to a nail.
