Hi guys, I'm looking to replace my tires with Goodyear duratrac.
My original tires are 265/65/17 and now I want to change to 265/70/17 because GY duratrac don't have my original size. Has anyone did this before and is there any clearance issue or rubbing issue? Thanks so much.

Generally, that size works just fine on stock suspension but there have been a few cases with the Duratracs where that size has caused rubbing at full lock and required a small spacer.

Are you keeping the stock rims? If so, maybe just the front mudflap removal and a few inches of trimming.

I've had 265/70/17 Duratracs on for 30k miles without an issue.

I will buy another set when they die - they are awesome.

A local member here was running 265/75R16 (same size as 265/70R17) on stock wheels and they were rubbing the LCA at full lock. You won't contact body parts with that size but the Duratracs have side wall nubs that can be an issue. Most tires in that size will fit on stock wheels and suspension but there have been a few cases where people have experienced rubbing and it's not something that some trimming will solve.

I have OME 884's in the front and 265/70-17 BFG A/T TA's on stock sport wheels. They drivers side rubs the control arm at full lock.

A 3 inch lift might make your 265's look a little small. Just a warning. To each his own. I have 1.75" lift up front and none in the back. Levels the truck out. I SOMETIMES wish I trimmed and made room for 285's...
