Nice job Daniel. Just so you don't get hounded if they don't arrive in 2 days but USPS priority doesn't guarantee 2 or 3 day delivery for Priortiy Mail and may take up to 7 days. And they won't even start a trace until 10 business days. I don't mean to toss a turd in your punch bowl but that is how it is. On a brighter note I recently sent a package USPS Priority from Kentucky on a Saturday and it arrived in California on Monday. Pretty good for USPS. Maybe they are getting their act together.

BTW have you received a reply back from Maureen on the PL5300's?

Just got off the phone with pop n lock so here is the latest. The 5300's are expected to be ready by next friday, and the only reason the PL8520s did not ship is that they modified the instructions She said they should be ready with the 5300's, and if not she will send them anyway and either include handwritten instructions or give them to me to post

 

Thanks for the update Daniel. And remember when all of this is over to let us know if you come out short on your expenses. No reason this should cost you a cent and I also hope P&L comp'd you a freebie for all of your effort.

Hmmm... Alright. I'm kinda confused, I thought you had the 8520's because you were saying they'd require a larger package to ship. Either way.... can't wait! Thanks for the hard work!

 

i got mine in the mail today (5100). i'm very happy that i didn't pay full price for it. not much to the product.

very easy straight forward instructions, had it installed in less than 10 mins. be careful removing the plastic keepers holding the release rods, especially on the older model trucks.

Is my model in yet?

 

This is my first post for this web site. I just bought a 2009 Tacoma and part of my decision was the availability of the pop lock and securing my bed. I did speak with Maurine this morning. She said the locks are being made as we speak. They are waiting for bigger packaging and "should" be shipped no later than the 30th. Although from reading the posts, this has been an ongoing promise. I will be optimistic and hope for later this week. If it turns out to be a run around, I might install the dyno like a few of you have already done.

Ok the only monetary shortcoming I foresee is that the power locks cost about $1.25 more to ship, but seeing as there are only 16 of them I don't think it is a big deal!

That's 20 bucks extra in shipping. You shouldn't come out on the bottom for all that you've done for us. I'll throw down 5 bucks to cover a few of them if someone else wants to pitch in, I'm sure 3 others will. Expect a payment in your paypal within a day or so. Thanks again buddy.
