It was a whole year before I realized that the locking hubs on my 72 Bronco had not been engaging. It was soft sand that finally got me. Then I thought back to all the trails I'd done and not gotten stuck. Rocks, hills, blizzard, mud. I have 35s but I was impressed with what it could do in 2wd. Now I see just how far I can go in 2 wheel. Turns out I hardly use 4 wheel any more (would never go without it though!).
