Step two is actaully get the TSB printed out and take it back. they played dumb with me too..
and then when I pulled the paper work out and said "Here are the old spring part numbers...and the springs I have have the same part numbers" they figured out what to do very quickly.

A call to corporate may or may not help you, as yours is a 2009. At least they will have your complaint on record.

I printed the paperwork, but i wanted to get my truck back before I go and take it to them. I want to check the part numbers.

It's not all that rougher than before.

The better way to describe it - it feels 'sturdier' or firmer. Rides much better.

And the ass end doesn't bounce around when you get on the gas. You just squeel the tires instead. :D

Mine does that now (09 RegCab 4x4 4Cyl).
I live in Texas and spend most of time on dirt roads (@55MPH), fire line roads, and ranch roads. I currently love the way it feels on the dirt and the way washboards do not cause the rear end to go nuts. How does the TSB feel out in the country? Trucks with stiffer feeling rides on the street are absolutely horrible on dirt roads at any speed. Is this the case with the 4 leaf tacomas? I need to know because if it makes the dirt road driving bad, I will stick with the 3 pack.
I do occasionally haul items (Boat, Jet ski, Gator, ATV) though.

TRD Toyota rugged trail off road package.

locust is very hard and heavy depending on the bark which is very thick in some species so yeah it was probably close to a ton.

Do a search for it, threads are all over, in short it stands for "Technical Service Bulletin". It is something sent out by toyota about common issues people are experiencing, and how to fix them.

And by serious...He means like 1000 lbs more than the truck is rated for. I looked up the wood density for locust and I'd say (depending on how much got stacked in there) it was more like 2500 lbs of wood.
Truck is rated for like 900 to 1300 lbs passengers, cargo, and all, model dependent.

Glad you like the ride, cause the TSB does not cover reg cabs.

If they didn't show you/give you a print out and it's not listed on your invoice-I'd go back and ask them to do it...They owe it to you. If they did do it-I'd go somewhere else cause they did a poor job of it.
