It can haul more weight than a Tundra. If the Ridgeline is not a "real" truck, how do you classify the Tundra and Tacoma?

I'd say its a SUV/truck hybrid..I want to see one on the road carrying its load cap..not just groceries..

I'm not trying to start anything. I owned a Ridgeline before buying my Tacoma. I love my Tacoma and would still make the same decision. The point that I am making is to not underestimate the Ridgeline. Agree that it does not have a truck frame and uses a unibody construction. However, it does have a higher payload and I have never heard of having to replace the rear suspension if you want to haul at the rated payload capacity (unlike our Tacomas).

A Dodge Caravan cargo (Ram C/V) can haul 1500 lb. Is it a truck?

    Is this a "truck" too?

The Ridgeline is a crossover with a truck bed. That is all, regardless of whatever the "payload" is.

A Ram can pull 30,000lbs, does that make it a semi?

Having owned a Supra and being the current owner of a Miata, I would most certainly agree with CR on that one point. The Miata is more fun to drive than the Supra. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

I take anything I read on CR with a grain of salt.Cr is good at rating toasters and tvs but not vehicles IMO.When you rate a vehicle you have to look at everything about the vehicle and all Cr does is focus on certain things they dont like and then say yeh or nay.

I've never driven a Supra, but I got 15laps in a spec class, track dedicated Miata at road Road Atlanta. It was a blast wearing out the bumper of a 500hp Mustang. They are a full size slot car. I was so impressed, I almost built one. The bad part is, No matter how many cars you pass, or races you win...It's still a Miata

I just got 20.52 MPG on my second tank of gas on a new 2013 DC TRD OR. They must have counted the off road portion of the test into the milage.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I stopped reading at the typo.

    Did you?

And what's wrong with that? It is quite simply the most fun car I've ever driven. Even at the 300 whp level it has forgiving handling (relatively speaking). Its never too serious, its never trying to kill you. I also have a Gixxer 750, and the handling and braking have much higher limits, its very much more serious and that takes some of the fun out of it. I've been playing with the Miata for 10 years now, and its still a blast. Does it impress the boys, no. Who cares, I'm having fun.

Having come from an '09 BMW 328i coupe, the ride is actually much improved versus what I'm accustomed to...

I freakin' LOVE this truck...and I still go to the window to my carport just to take a peek at it while I'm inside ;)

Wow! That's just silly?! CR thinks the ideal mid size is a 4 door looking el camino. Shame on them.
I have never looked in or rode in a ridgeline but I feel it's one of the worst cars Honda has ever sold, Honda tried to open there world and get into the truck market well guess what they failed. (My opinion) I should look there sales for the ridgeline but I'm too lazy.

The tacoma has been a long run without a lot of restyling, it's a great truck for me. I like it! I feel the power to weight ratio is more the adequate. Brakes do suck and I'm a die hard toyota fan.

I am nervous or trying to figure out how I can fit two child seats in the back of my double cab (one son 16 months now and trying for another). Overall it's a good truck. I wanted a mid size and this is my idea rig. Camping, fishing hauling the family around, this works for me.:D

    Thanks,

    Brett

These are people, like the people in Washington, who are telling us, "Who cares how they died", or " I found out about it in the papers, at the same time you did". They have an agenda about how Americans should behave, what we should drive, how we should eat, etc.. They are not really connected with the 'real world'. They never liked John Wayne, they still hate Ronald Reagan, they would rather watch Opra than a good James Bond movie. Fishing to them is something that you do in the internet. So don't let them tell you how you should think.

Gun control is not about guns..., it's about CONTROL!
