RockAuto has the TYC 800038P cabin air filters for $3.48 each plus shipping. Amazon charges $7.71 for the exact same item.

There are shipping charges with RockAuto but I found them to be reasonable if you buy in quantity. I bought 12 and the total shipping was $11.62. So the unit cost with shipping factored in was $4.44 each, which is still considerably cheaper than Amazon or Ebay sellers.

Great deal, but considering I replace mine once a year I rather pay $3 more a year to have Amazon store them for me. To each their own.

Why not store extras in the glove box or under the seats?

I have done a lot of business with Rock Auto over the years and have never encountered any issues.
