    Oh boy...
so LT LCA's and an inch spacer for the spindle and id be good you think? what would be binding? hell maybe LT UCA's and LCA's might solve my problem all together because they would be able to handle the lift. my coilovers are already built for LT

yeah, you'd need the LT UCA's, along with extended front axles and maybe steering links.

I kinda figured LT was an exception to a drop bracket, but I guess they could be used together.

that'd be a hefty amount of lift.

I was thinking $10 a pair. I can tap any size you want. I was thinking about making myself a bed divider and using these slot nuts to mount it.
Chris, can you send me a pic of your plug so I can see how bad its broken?

Mostly its a style thing, but I think it originated from wanting a wider footprint for romping on the beaches, And if you want to run a 12+ inch wide wheel, you still need to be able to turn so its set far out and lifted high. Some guys run 18" wide Reals.

I would seriously look at the Performance accessories body lift, can be found at summit racing for $360. Bumper brackets, steering extender included. Then just get gap guards to cover the space. Maybe some sliders for the sides. Unless you go with the long travel, its more or less for looks anyway, right? Would you run 37s or 38s?

    Too long to list :D
You want your UCA and LCA (and axle shaft) to be the same width so that the pivots stay in a straight line. If you mess up the angles, the top of the tire will start to tuck in to the frame side of the truck as the suspension cycles. A good thing for Ferrari's that corner at 100+, or baja trucks with 30" of travel. But bad for tire wear.

And a LT kit will use make you 3" wider or more per side. That's why people use the fiberglass fenders that add 6" per side.

LT's can usually be used with DB's. and a lot of times it allows you to use the full travel without fiberglass fenders.

    Oh boy...
Im currently running 35s but they were rubbing pretty bad so i decided to increase my lift another inch to compensate and sure enough it did.... but now i have lost down travel in the front because my Camburg UCA's are sitting on my coilover. so every bump i hear it smacking my c/o. eventually once these tires wear im going to downsize to a 33 and re-gear to 33's. if only there was a way to re-mount the uca so its recessed in more but i guess thats why i would buy a LT kit. it will all eventually happen but for now im just gunna keep smacking my c/o i guess.
