Did you ever determine the source of the creaking? My '08 double cab has a very similar creak. It usually only happens when hitting bumps, pot holes, etc. And I agree - it is driving F'ing insane!

In Grey skys case, the creaking is due to her truck body resting on her sliders.

Hmmm. I don't have sliders but I hear that same noise. It's not as often as hers but definitely sounds the same. I'll have to keep hunting for it.

Also, I can cause the noise to happen by opening the passenger door to about 45 degrees then slightly lift the door up and down. This really accentuates the noise but its hard to pinpoint the source while I'm moving the door. Time to enlist a friend with a good ear!

No Jim Carey. Thread fails to deliver.

Sometimes unhappy autoworkers like to toss their empty soda cans inside doors. Common practice, you might want to pop the door liner and just have a peak. Maybe someone lost a screw while assembling, and just felt like leaving it in the bottom was a better thing to do.

I had a sismilar noise but on the driver side and it was the screw that when they made the custom brackets for the sapeaker they were rubbing on the inside of the door wall. Might try to check the inside of your door.
I really hate anything that is out of the ordinary sound, if all else fails drowning it out by loud music:D

I think the only thing worse than cabin noise is tooth pain and a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

I had a similar sound. It wound up being the AC fan. When it started I knew exactly what it was because I had to have the AC fan replaced in my 06 Civic 4 times. My wife swore it was in the door when she was in the passenger seat.

Try turning the AC fan off when you hear it to see if it stops.

If your still looking, I'd take the door apart and check the window cranks. I'd bet that's it.

x2, my driver side made the same noise as the video, took the door apart, came to find that the brackets that hold my window up were a bit loose, once i tighten all the little a$$holes, no more annoying sound

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
I once had a ranger that developed a annoying rattle one day... Iwas sure it was coming from behind the glove box.. I got so pissed I started kicking the dash.... Come to find out, I never tightened a seat bolt in the passenger side after i put my sub box in..... the washer was rattling...

Shoot the microwave, no, you need to "Tannerite" that sucker. It removes refrigerator doors well too. The maker says it will not start a fire but I beg to differ. I taped about a cig pack size of Tannerite on to the side of the fridge in a folded up sandwich baggy. It blew a hole 10" in diameter clean through both sides of that wall of the fridge and caught the thing on fire! We got it put out quickly so be foewarned, it can start a fire so have an extinguisher handy. :)
