I have had a problem with my blinker and horn fuse blowing for a few weeks now. Everytime I put fuse in both they go a little bit then both blow at the same time. It seems that maybe there is a problem in the steering colum but I am not sure any one got any suggestions?

    Check the TTORA Garage Section....
Areas to look at clock spring in the steering wheel, check connections (pull apart, clean), and then the relay for either the horn or the turn signal.
Have you done any electrical work on your truck lately?

Little bit of interesting information some people may not be aware of: The horn fuse is what supplies power to the turn signal flasher if the hazard switch is engaged. Do you regularly use your hazard switch? I would suspect possibly that your turn signal flasher may be shorting out, or something after that.(This is located behind the dash, on the left side of the steering column) Can you give any more information on what is going on when the fuses blow?

I know this is most likely obvious, but I suggest looking at the wiring harness at the base of the column to see if there is something obvious, then address the multifunction switch (Which I suspect the least)

The blinker could be something as simple as changing the fluid.
I've changed over to a synthetic fluid and blink trouble free.

i already run synthetic blinker fluid. changed the blinker pump recently and got a new clutch belt and muffler bearing so i think i am good on all that.

Blake, Im having the same issue. Did you get it figured out yet? I don't even know where to begin. I pulled the collar off the column and didn't see anything obvious but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks for any info.

Yes i fixed it after millions of fuses and a couple pissed off work sessions. i recently rebuilt the engine in my truck because it was at 1/4 million miles. well i forgot to put the engine ground back on for the wiring harness and this was my problem.
