Air Bags Not going Off

Second I don't know how the Toyotas are but a lot of vehicles airbags are packed in a white powder to protect them from dry rot. When they go off it scatters the white powder throughout the vehicle. Almost impossible to completely clean from the interior. Most vehicles with airbag deployment get totaled.

Thousands more to fix, agreed. I was told by my insurance co. that if there is enough impact to set off the airbags, they usually total the vehicle. Mine was. Luckily, there was none of the white powdery stuff in mine (steering wheel only).
