I love my valentine 1 and just went to hardwire it the other day, it seemed easy enough, but I ran into some problems. After running flat cord through headliner, down A-pillar, to fuse box, I found the power fuse supplied by Valentine did not fit into fuse well/ did not provide power- tried trimming fuse down to fit better, that didn't help- also it was pretty hard to find a suitable ground bolt anywhere near the fuse box.

To those of you who have hardwired your valentine 1: Where did you ground the power? How did you get power?

Pics would be great if you have them! Thanks!

If I get time tonight I will look at mine and see if I can get a few pics.. I think I paid 40 buck or so to have a local shop do it.. It is a great detector...
