Cut the cats?

I live in texas so idk about carolina. Where I get my inspection they just check my lights, horn, take my money and im on my way.

Im very interested in doing this but my friend and i looked at my truck and we are confused as to which cats yall are talking about cutting... does anyone have some pics on the second gens?

I'm in cali too but don't let that stop you from doing what you want to your truck that YOU paid for. Big brother isn't everywhere buddy

does anyone know the size of the stock piping for the exhaust? gonna order flanges off of jegs.

 

No you cut both of them. I have already cut my cats. I will post pictures soon.

Never mind...wrong thread.

 

I cut mine off works good. Stock muffler, just makes the stock muffler sound the same think it will blow the packing faster. I was wondering if I could do these to the front 2 cats??

 

I was going to cut mine off too, but just went with the URD Y Pipe.


Didn't think I lost any low end, but picked up a lot up top. Made my TRD
exhaust sound a whole lot nicer as well.
