    Hello Bosun (Limey pronunciation), that would be 'plum', as in plum. We called it Christmas pudding and ate it with Bird's custard. Don't use any tea except 'Yorkshire Gold', it's the best.

    Spent 2 yrs. over in your neck of the woods. Was stationed in Holy Loch Scotland, drank plenty of "GOOD" tea, and ate plenty of Fish and Chips while there!
    Our family came here about 1699, after migrating from Scotland to Ireland and then to here. Probablly been making plum pudding for many generations! I know great grandma, grandma, and mom made it. That covers about 150 yrs. I still make it and have a bunch of molds.
