I am tired of fighting with Toyota and a 2-1/2" drop with 500 lbs is not acceptable. I have some Hellwig 550s that I am going to try again to install. I think I will just try them on top of the keepers. Those keepers are pretty dang heavy and may be a little dificult to bend. I am planning my next move since I am not sure the Hellwigs will solve the problem. I looked at the Timbrens but not sure that I want them. Other choices are an AAL or new leaf packs. I would like to try the AAL but I am concerned about the 1-1/2" lift with the Bilstein 5160 remote resevoirs. I would really like to have some rake and then the drop would not be so bad. Bajas have the 4 leaf pack.

I have been looking at those. I believe I will be ok with a 1-1/2" lift in rear but need to get that question answered first. Toytec lists the 5160 as option with their kits but I have read 1" lift with 5160s.

Are you wanting more load capacity, but no lift?

I would like some lift if the 5160s can handle it. Some rake wpuld be nice. Load capacity is primary goal.

I've got the Helwig 550's and snugged them all the way down. No change in ride quality and no sag when loaded. Took me maybe 20-mins to install.
