I thought it was just my imagination but my radio volume fluctuates. Volume drops off as I get further from towers and signal weakens. I know some songs might be louder than others but it is more than that. Anyone else notice this?

Do you have the touch screen system? My 2012 does this. I finally noticed the HD symbol on the right lower corner of the system flashing on and off. I assumed this was the HD signal coming and going. When this happens I turn the HD off and the volume does not fluctuate.

Mine is the touch screen and not an entune. I was thinking that it either does not have ASL or it is defaulted to off. The volume does not fluctuate with speed like my 2009. I turned the ASL to low in my 2009 and it was still not quite right. I will check the HD indicator. I no there is a big diff on HD with TVs but radios?

Mine doesn't change with speed either, just changes volume like its going in and out of the regular radio signal and HD. HD is considerably louder. When this does happen try turning the HD off and see if the radio volume is constant....good luck.

I checked the ASL and it was off. I set it to low 2 days ago and so far no fluctuations.
