Damn! Nice!! I wish someone with a nautical blue wanted a chrome bumper :(

I'm looking forward to the day I can get rid of my chrome. Need to get my plasti dip going on my badges soon!

they sure do use road salt!!!!!

and where i have big scratches on my frame from rocks, and the undercoat has been stripped off, there is surface rust (that i have obviously removed and painted) but there is no way that the metal could rust with a layer of that stuff on. I had it on my old Suzuki for years and it worked well

I kept telling my wife over and over as we drove home what a lucky find that was. I explained that I could have bought a new color matched bumper for around $400, and then turned around and sold mine for about $100 if I was lucky. Or, I could find someone to trade with, but that was a long shot, and even if I did they'd likely want another $100 on top of the trade. But, to find someone that just wanted a straight swap was a one in a million deal!

no not new... well to be fair I'm not sure if they use it in the city limits but they certainly do on the mountain passes and Highways.

fyi, If you do plasti dip on your bumpers use 2 cans. i used one full can and it only lasted a year. I think if it was 2x as thick it would have lasted longer. I have not had a problem with my badges, in 2 years, but i did like 4 maybe 5 coats.

I like the look of the Speedliner but I don't have a hopper feed sprayer, I think I may try with a couple cans of that gravel guard type spray untill i can afford a high clearance setup

I'd test the bed liner spray can on something else first. I have a buddy who did his bumpers and it looks pretty bad. :puke:

The texture is just super inconsistent.

no problem. i think it looks ok. there is a TN member that has his plate bumpers done. and it’s kinda textured like the bed side caps. it’s not real rough like line x, but it’s not smooth like paint either. and should work till you get a H/C. I’m wanting just a rear bolt on plate.
