    this isn't a debate thread cuz we've already got so many of those...

    my question is actually about buying/trading a non-scoop hood for a scoop one

    as long as you stay in the same hood model year range (example: '05-'10) are the hood interchangeable in terms of mounting hardware/bolt locations

    the reason I ask is i'm looking at a truck that doesn't have the scoop like I want but when i'm lookin up prices on scooped hoods, all the sites say they "don't fit"

    What sites are you looking at? Just parts sites or painted options? Wish i could find one in red :(

    Amazon and other parts sites... they all come just stock primer and i know that to match the color of a single panel that's already removed from the vehicle, shops around here only charge like $150-200... but that's cuz you've already done a lot of their labor for them
