New member from MD researching future purpose

Hello all. New member here from Crofton, MD looking to do some research on the Tacoma before I make the plunge. Right now I am undecided between the Tundra and the Tacoma.

I have used forums in the past with great success and I wanted to do some research before I decide which model to buy. Things I'm hoping to learn about are potential problems, models or years to avoid, things to look for if I decide to buy used and also just general reviews by current owners on what they are happy with and what disappoints them aboutt their current truck.

My budget is going to be between 28k-32k. I would like to buy a used Certified Toyota with the 7yr 100k warranty. Hopefully I'll be able to find something in my budget.

Tow Package (I want the supplemental engine and tranny coolers)
4WD
TRD Off Road Package

Well things never go right as planned and I ended up buying a 370z back in 2011. After enjoying the sports car for a few years I decided it was time to add a truck to the stable.

Today I purchased a 2012 CPO Tacoma TRD Off Road Double cab in silver with the tow package. Its got 21k miles. I got the truck for 28500OTD in Maryland.
