    My '07 Tacoma fuel gauge doesn't read correctly. I just bought it from an individual and he failed to disclose this (among other issues) and I ran out of gas just below 1/4 reading and the "Low Fuel" light never came on. Can I adjust the gauge or do I need a new sending unit?

    I think you need a new sending unit, but a shop needs to plug in to it to be sure
