newbie to tacomas and tacoma world

Hello to all you taco owners. Just bought a 2002 tacoma dc 2wd with 130000 miles, it is completely stock. So there is a lot of room for mods. It came from Mass. so it has some minor rust which are going to be the first things i address, like the fuel tank protector the dealer prices are out of sight as always. Just will sand blast the part and get the primer and paint from eastwood. The first thing i did was the timing belt and water pump not knowing when they were last changed good thing to because the pump had leaked at one time by all the dried up coolant around it. I hope to learn a lot of tricks and tips for modifying the truck for everyone on the site. As soon as ifigure it out i will post pics.
