After removing/replacing my seats my airbag light stays on (drivers) and the passenger airbag stays 'OFF'. I've tried many links to find the procedure to reset the system with no luck.
Please; does anyone know the procedure?

There is a whole sequence including putting a specified amount of weight in the passenger seat. I recommend you have a dealer do it for you.

    Build thread coming soon!
Our shop had to change a bunch of airbags on an '11 Tundra. Unlike any other manufacturer, it didn't need to be plugged in at the dealer to initialize any of the new parts. The service manager said that if the key is left on for 10-15 minutes (engine not running) the components will "shake hands" as Toyota calls it. Maybe this is the same?

have you had the clockspring recall done yet? if not just take it in and say you want it done. they will run diagnostics, tell you what any code may be for, and fix your clockspring anyway.

    Not on the Taco.

Every now and then, someone powers up to test a stereo without the clock module plugged in.
Trip to the dealer and $60 to reinit the system.
