Laptop running hot

So I decided my Vaio seems to be running hot lately and downloaded Speedfan to check it out... Seems like I was right. How do I fix it? I'm not to great with computers but can follow directions fairly well. My laptop is hot to the touch and is startinng to run slow.. I need it for school.

Heres the temps:
HD0: 111F
TEMP1: 113F
TEMP2: 113F
CORE 0: 126F
CORE 1: 133F

 

where do you have it placed ? Do you keep it hooked up to the charger all the time ? The simple fix is the fan plates that you place you laptop on and they just fan air into the bottom of your laptop ! Just plug it into one of your usb ports and your good to go !

I used to have a cooling pad, its at my house (dont live there). Its usually on a desk. The laptop is always plugged into a charger because some jackass stole my battery and I dont have the cash for a new one.

 

Take some canned air and blow out the cooling vents on your laptop chassis. Over time dust really builds up in these; blocking the flow of air through your laptop.

 

Yeah...totally worth opening the laptop up and cleaning it out real well. I's a pain in the ass...but set it to go to sleep or shut it off whenever you aren't using it.

 

if you can, open it up and blow it out with some compressed air. you may have had a fan gone bad that may not be cooling as it should.

 

Check for a BIOS Update.

If you have an NVidia chip inside of it, there is likely a BIOS update to correct the fan speeds. My Dell Latitude was running incredibly hot, especially when I was running OSX, the update easily dropped the temp by 20 degrees.
