I just read that changing only the filter on my truck will produce a 1-4 hp gain on my truck by just changing the air filter to a K&N. It says it directly on the website. Does anyone have any experience with these filters and does anyone have any experience with other filters that "may" produce a slight hp gain?
    Thanks

Go with an afe prodry s filter, don't require oiling. Don't think you'll get anything really noticeable out of it though, but you will save money on air filters in the future!

The more I learned about my k&n filter... the more I realized I didn't want to use one. I just got rid of mine. bottom line, it lets in more debris.
