I've been looking to an S.A. for some time now. This here is a Ruger Blackhawk 357, also shoots 38 special. From what i have heard a great solid "American made" gun. Brand new about $600.

    Barrel length 4.62.
It's got some cosmetic wear etc..
I talked the guy into letting go for $300. Any thoughts?? should i buy it today.

I assume the "350" is a mistype for "357." That is a respectable price for what I have seen in this area. If the bore is right and it is in good mechanical condition that is a good deal, IMO. Ruger makes excellent firearms.

    ^^ what he said.

Make sure the timing of the cylinder is good, check the space between the cylinder and barrel looking for fouling or other damage. By all means shoot it first if possible. It's a good gun at a good price IMO. Good luck!

For a .357 definitely check the cylinder gap. You want it snug, smooth and clean.
