i added the black (harley davidson matte black) to reduce glare back from the rack lighting...it was done in birmingham,al at "tucker paint and body", for what i consider a great price and a real nice job..there is a contour on the hood which goes around the "a-pillars"...this color follows that line...the contour line is obvious as it wraps around the "a-pillars"...i had an 83 mustang gt with simular hood treatment and i always liked matte accents...plus after de-badgeing,the truck looked like a refrigerator on wheels..yeah,i coulda went a couple of different ways with the lay-out,but this took the least amount of prep and masking...anyway,i was actually planning on reinstalling the "bug/wind deflector"...so the break-up would have been somewhat cleaner between colors...but i decided not to..it's cool like it is to me

Vossen has all kinds of great videos. Wraps are really nice if you get a good installer. I was thinking of having my car wrapped but what scared me was the blade - didn't want my paint affected. With the lesser experienced installers, often times I've seen bubbles or slight tears that begin at corners because they've cut too close. I don't think it would be an issue with a hood though. Not sure but I think it would be cheaper than a hood sticker?

I think it would also look better than a hood sticker. Depending on price of doing the wrap, I would wrap a car before painting it to retain the origanal value. I think I may do this to my wifes next car if its not a POS
