Installed the OEM cruise stalk on my base model today. I searched around quite a bit before doing it, and found the procedure and photos here to be very helpful:

    http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/61-2nd-generation-2005/171992-diy-oem-cruise-control.html

However there is an error in the parts list. The TN how-to lists the screws used to mount the stalk to the steering wheel as 1/2" 10/32, but the correct thread pitch is M5x0.8. A 12mm bolt will reach to the bottom of the threads on the lower bolt hole, but is not long enough for full thread engagement on the upper one. I used a 16mm bolt in the upper hole. There is ample room for even longer bolts, but 12mm and 16mm are long enough.

I am not a TN member, and cannot post a correction there.

I got the parts from toyotapartszone.com for $109.37 plus shipping. The M5 screws and washers were about a dollar at the hardware store.
