Should I lower the 5100s?

    2" lift AAL and Bilstiens-front-rear,front diff drop. main drive drop
    BUMP-1st gen here.
    Wish I had put setting to highest in the front. Put it on the mid setting. AAL rear too.
    Can you say RAKE-LOL
    running same size tires as your new ones.

    Yea currently although the pics I have are old, the truck is level. I am afraid that there will be a bad rake if I lower front end.

    I'd leave the setting on top & dump the AAL you have now & throw 2 chevy truck springs under your stock leafs (mildly ARC'd) you'll get approx 2" lift leveling you out

    EDIT: You can keep the AAL & add just 1 spring as well depending on the AAL's condition

    I was running about 2.5" of lift with my 5100's and OME 885 coils and 265/75/16 fill the wheel wells nicely.

    Now that I've got 4" lift spindles and lost my stock front bumper...the wheels look pretty small :).

    As for the rear...I'd definitely hit up Doug or some new leaf help if I were you :). AAL's are a horrible bandaid.

    Thanks yea the rear is fine I just installed the Wheelers Progressive AAL and the truck sits perfectly level now. I am down sizing to 265s next week and just wanted to know everyone's opinion if I should leave it at 2.5 or break it down and lower the truck. Going from m/t to michelin is gonna make a huge difference astetically
