Bought my first Taco recently (reformed Ranger driver)... five tanks of juice in, it seems it has a REALLY serious preference for BP Invigorate...

Came full from the dealer... about 17mpg out of the gate city driving...

First refill was whatever 87 plus a bottle of Gum-Out to remove anything left over from the factory... didn't even look at efficiency...

Next tank was BP Amoco Ultimate with Invigorate.......... it drove like a different truck!!!!!! Its an auto, and gear transitions were smooth... REALLY smooth... intermediate acceleration went gently to 3k RPM... and I measured 22mpg on the highway...

Next tank was Exxon 93... gear transitions were rough and shaky, especially at the low end... intermediate acceleration went jerkily to 3.5k RPM... and I measured 19mpg on the same highway conditions...

    Anyone have any thoughts here?

i have never noticed a difference in fuel other than MPG. I live in North Dakota. Once i get south of Minneapolis my truck always gets 1-3 MPG better so i assume its a difference in Fuel Qualities. I try to stay away from gasoline with ethanol in it other than that i see no difference honestly.
