I've been trying to decide on a lift and tire size for about 3 months now and still can't make up my mind. If used Google relentlessly and have still made no progress. I'm between 265/65/16s and 5100s at 1.75, and 5100s @ .85 with eibachs and 285s. If I go the 285 route, I'll be running the SCS stealth 6 and Terra Grapplers to cut down on weight.

I don't really do any serious wheeling, and drive about 150 miles a week. I don't mind doing minor trimming. Can anyone with similar set ups chime in on their gas mileage?

    100% bone stock for now...
when i had bald OEM wheels and tires and drove like a grandma (55mph max on freeway) i was getting consistant 20mpg sometimes 21mpg!

after lift and brand new 285\75\16 BFG KO's 18mpg was max

front mud guard had to be removed, and trimming was ultra minimal because i had 2.8 degrees of positive caster.

I mostly do small town driving during the week and rarely take long trips and haven't noticed much of a mpg drop at all since I went to 285's. I think you lose most of the mpg on the highway at speed tho and not in traffic. tbh tho I don't give mpg much thought.
