Advice on Wheels that wont break the bank

Hey all, I have a Silver 05 Tacoma with the stock steel wheels on it, and I would like to jazz up my ride.

My question is.....

1. Do wheels make a noticeable difference in performance?

I have heard bigger the wheel, the better handling and steering up to a point.

True?

2. I would like a wheel that is not super expensive... Not trying to break the bank..

Perhaps I could just go with 16 inch wheels, so i could use the stock tires and save money..


But i wonder if 16 is to small, and will look silly...


3. Im running the stock tires, (had replacements, but the same ones) Tires are great, last long on mileage which is what I want, and have had no issues with them... Convince me to get another brand, and why........


4. Im interested in possibly some stock 4 runner wheels, but I am also interested in going with a lighter wheel than my stock steelies... Will i notice on the wheel weight?


5. My dream wheel is the Bronze or Gold Volks that look incredible on white, but im obviously not going to get those... Can someone upload a pic of those..
