I would ask around at shops to see what they want to paint that piece.

 

yeah the shape is different. but the way it mounts is the same on all years. and thats what i was talking about is the way it mounts.

Toyota has recently released a Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB) for the Tacoma addressing a grill wind whistle noise issue.

According to T-SB-0058-12, “some 2012 model year Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a wind whistle type noise from the front of the vehicle. This noise may be coming from the grill where it meets the hood. A revised grill has been developed to address this condition.” The TSB only applies to truck that were produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective Vins listed below. If yours doesn’t match up then it probably isn’t affected.

The bumper and flares have a super fine bubble texture. You will not be able to duplicate it so painting it will leave it with a different finish. Your bumper has been nicked as well. To replace and paint both parts new I would assume around 1000-1300 bucks. Paint only probably 5-600.
