these comments are making me laugh
Sooo, did some more talking with my buddy tonight and decided probably the best way to go is a small garret t3 or t3/t4, no intercooler (there's not much room for one anyway), meth injected tapped right behind the throttle body (that'll take care of the fuel issues, will mean no intercooler is fine, and allow easier tuning on fuel misture), and just a clutch system (I think that's what it's called) tied into the exhaust after the cat, (to keep it legal, yo )--no custom manifold (cause you are right, that'd be very expensive)... 2, 2.5" pipes should be able to fit with a little modification to the firewall.... but I'm not a stranger to that kind of work.

Only looking to run about 5psi on this set-up... It would be nowhere near the limits of the 5vz-fe!

Does this sound better to you? or even worse?! Total cost would be under $1500, easy.

Would probably have to upgrade the fuel pump too, but that's not too expensive in the grand scheme. I think mine is original anyway.

    Nope not worth it.

Not effienct enough. Meth won't help the fuel issues that much. Meth increased the octane level basically not truly adding more fuel.

You will still need a ECM or something. To "lie" to the ecu otherwise it won't know wtf is going on.

Stock manifolds. SUCK to just slap a turbo to. Never ends well. Not having an intercoller will hear soak the crap out of the intake temps so bye bye efficiently. Be worse the a TRD sc.

And quit spending money if you need to stop. Not to sound like I know everything about your situation but if you really want to sell it..go park it at a public lots with a sign and never look at it again till it's sold. Your still too attached to it and wanting tonworknon it and you'll never sell it by still working on it. Which I'm okay with :p but I'm guessing that's not what you need right now

You need to stick to the plan..which is sell. :pout: not mod and play.

So put some real effort into selling it...not turboing it not worth the cost. And like I said. A true enthusiast will love it and appreciate it as it is.

Plus I promise once you add the turbo..you'll have to spend forever tweaking it..then you'll get hit with the boost bug and start tweaking the motor out..

Seriously. Park it. Put a sign in it. Never look back.

That is depressing just writing that..

But..truth hurts  what I did with my bike..

Forget the turbo and put a straight axle! Or one ton axles front and rear! That would keep you busy for a couple days. :)

Back again to pester you with another question lol.

You have 14" travel shocks right? I'm trying to figure out what length 5125's to run with my 63's. I know the proper way to figure it out is to lift it then measure but this is a DD so I don't want to drive it without shocks for a week. I know you've ran a few setups out back and wanted to see what you thought. I'm gonna run mine with 3 leaves and stock rear hangers and shackles for now but am gonna do the creeper joints and shackles when I get some more money cause your droop setup is . Going to try and box the frame and triangulate the shocks while I'm at it too. Might as well do it all at once, ya know..

If I must measure, I measure from my new mounting points (crossmember to axle tube) for ext/collapsed lengths right?
