04 power issue

    Truck seems to run just fine. But when your cruising at 40 or so and then open it up to full throttle, the truck seems to fall on its face for a sec or two then picks up. seems like it doesnt want to open up. Put a new fuel filter on it today, gonna change the plugs this weekend. Any advice on what else needs to be checked?

    Other than what you've already mentioned try these too; they are all cheap and easy to do yourself: clean the throttle body, clean the MAF sensor, replace plug wires, run a bottle of injector cleaner through the system, replace air filter. Good luck.
