Ordered my 2013 access cab sport, I was told entune/nav was only available in the quad cab, not the access cab.

Went out to Big Bend National Park area a couple weekends ago for the Original Terlingua Championship Chili Cook-off and drove around the park for a day. Great day, and had a great experience wheeling with a couple of Jeep Wranglers. We didn't do anything too challenging or crazy, but I did like the compliments I got on the Taco's ride vs Wranglers :) Granted, my wife drives a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited, so I already knew the difference in overall ride.

I ordered a 2013 Sport Access Cab and the mirrors have turn signal indicators in them.

NICE! Looks like you had fun! How do you feel the stock highway tires handled off road? did you notice a lot of slippage? What was the terrain like? I want to take mine out but am afraid to go anywhere with these highway tires. I already had an incident with a gravelly slope and there was way too much slippage for my liking but it also wasn't the ideal test.

TRD Sport Package comes with color-key side mirrors and turn indicators. TRD Off-road doesn't.

Well, obviously not great...but not too terrible. A lot of sand, small rocks, and some decent sized rocks. Honestly, I think the truck could have handled a majority of this road in 2WD, so probably not the best test/judge for these tires either. Before I get too excited with any trail, I'll be swapping those Rugged Fails out. There were a couple of times where I was slipping while driving up a rocky hill (mixture of sand/pebbles on a rock face, maybe 30-40 degrees upward), but I could always find a better path nearby with more traction. They were also pretty slippery in the sand. 4WD helped that one out a lot though. Huge difference driving with any speed through sand.

On another note, I really wish that I had the skewp on this truck...but after climbing a few hills, I can see how that would create more of a blind spot looking over the hood. So now I'm a little torn, but chances are a SW skewp hood won't be heading my direction any time soon. So that makes the decision easier!

That's what I figured. I didn't realize the TRD OR comes with the rugged fails those probably handled better than the pure highway tires they put on the Sports.

You should ask around, you'd be surprised how many guys would be willing to swap their skewp'd hood for a non-skewp.

PVC tank/15 & 16" horns, quick-d/c air chuck in bed cubby 24" LED light Bar (mounted to skidplate)A Headlights, foglights interior lights and backup lights all converted to LED (HUGE difference)
I got a '13 PreRunner V6 Double cab (also in super white), with the towing and appearance packages (The latter includes CF interior trim, Tubular full-length running boards, custom aluminum wheels (very nice), fake hood scoop, chrome exhaust tip (whoopie), LED DRL's (more on these later), rear sliding window (all but useless, as I can't reach it from the front), fog lights, all-weather seats, and I believe the backup cam and tailgate lock are part of that package as well. The tow package gives me a tranny oil cooler, heavier suspension, wiring for trailer lights and a brake controller, and of course, the class IV hitch (mounted to the frame, NOT the bumper); it ups my towing capacity to 6500 lbs. Not bad for a little truck (our Silverado 2500 DuraMax/Allison was rated for 12500, but a new hitch, tires and airbag suspension and shocks upped it to 16000. Not apples & apples, I know.

You are correct - the opposite side cubby is bigger. Mine doesn't have the 120 VAC outlet, so both of mine are full length. Sadly, the doors on these nifty storage compartments do not lock, and as they are only held in place by the latches, and can be opened (and stolen) by anyone who wants them. Also, there are drainage slots in those compartments, which limits what can be stored in them to things that won't rust or be damaged by rain. Nice idea; poor execution.

Those tie down points are attached directly to the bed, not the composite liner, so they will hold quite a bit. It's probably in the manual, but I'm too lazy to go outside & check. If I had to guess i'd say at least 500-750 lbs each. My truck also has rails on the front & sides of the box, with 4, removable cleats that can be positioned anywhere along the rails. Those are only rated at 250 each, if I recall correctly. They would have stored nicely in those storage cubbies, if they locked & were weatherproof (there are metal parts on the cleats).

Yes, they do; the front turn signals operate as DRL's via a position on the headlight control stalk. There is a logic circuit that allows them to operate normally as turn signals whether they are on as DRL's or not. My truck also has a horizontal row of VERY bright LED DRL's (maybe 10 per side) between the headlights & the bumper that are independently switched with a button on the dash, next to the USB/AUX input, below the radio. These are surprisingly bright, and very visible. The LED DRL's, as I said, are part of the appearance package; they got this one right. The logic circuits to make them all work together must be intense. I'll take (numerous) pics of all the lighting combinations soon, & post them under a new thread.
