    tried to use this in my tacoma with the original stereo only to find out it will not work with my model

    Plugged everything in thats all that was done with it

    not sure what other Toyota models this will fit
    so here it is for sale

    Utilizes the proprietary 30-pin Apple connector. Allows iPod controls through the vehicle head unit and steering wheel controls. Charges iPod when in use. Connects through the glove compartment allowing the iPod to be concealed for protection.
    Notes: For vehicles without embedded XM. Requires audio head unit to be satellite ready.

    i am not sure, i know it will fit into the space with all clips and screws but the harness in the back of the stereo might be different, will have to do a little research, or maybe someone here has a quick answer
