Closing the doors on my 2012 feels cheap

    I mean really people are comparing the "thud" sound if their doors. Is that really the reason you bought the Tacoma? That is the make or break for you to be content with your purchase?

    My fathers access cab sounds odd closing the doors as well as compared to my double-cab which has a nice thud when I close them. Trust me there is quality. I think its got to do with the way they seal to each door, the rear suicide doors kinda close odd to the front doors.

    It is amazing how different the uninsulated hoods sound between the LC and the Tacoma. My LC sounds like a tin roof also when I drop it. The Tacoma thuds and it feels like a heavier hood. Probably because the LC has struts though.
