Did you guys just spray over any nuts and bolts that connect to the frame? If not, what's the best plan of attack?

I'm about to coat my undercarriage. But, I don't want it to be a huge PITA if/when I decide it's time to replace parts.

What is it that you're spraying under there? I have my truck sprayed/oiled yearly by Krown, they put it everywhere and build up is not a concern.

When I coat my frame, I will coat everything. When it comes time for maintenance, I will scrap the coatings off any bolts/nuts that need to be removed at that time.

Cool. That's the kind of input I'm looking for. I'm probably going to do the same.

I've used rust encapsulator a number of times. Make sure everything is clean, and put at least two coats on. The brush-on stuff works WAY better too. I've used it on the frames of a few Tacoma's and the spray-on stuff was pretty much all gone at the end of a New England winter. I actually did my old 96 with 2 coats of rust encapsulator and a finish coat of their new rubberized rust encapsulator last fall. It was clean but I think it might have been too cold (around 55 degrees) when I applied it. It had just about all flaked off come this spring. I'm using KB coatings stuff on the 05 I just bought in a few weeks.
