URD short shifter

Craigslist is great bc you can offer less lol

 

the URD SS is nice. only thing you will need to worry about tho is premature wear of the rubber bushing in the shifter which will in turn make the shifting kinda sloppy. I would recommend getting Coupes shifter while getting the URD SS

 

Finally put this thing on a truck after buying it for the 05 over 2 yrs ago, procrastinating & then trading 05 for 08 RC. Glad it never went on the 05 now. Even found an extra nylon cup thing that goes on the ball from another truck while searching for 2 bolt/nuts to secure the front of the shifter seal boot instead of those weak push pin things it had. The bolt/nuts should keep the boot secure to floor and keep the dust bunnies out of that area. Shifts great. Don't know issues people has with shifting after putting this on. Works flawlessly and instantly adapted to it. I did use good bit of red loctite on the allens and did set them with a center punch after tightening. Hoping the people who broke the ball off theirs was just just from wrestling with shifting vs. actual defect. Also used gray rtv to seal top and bottom of spacer.
